IdentityMirror keeps your WordPress login screen aligned with the site identity configured in the WordPress Customizer. Instead of maintaining a separate login logo, the plugin reuses the Customizer logo so branding stays consistent when the site identity changes.

What It Does

  • Syncs the Customizer logo to the WordPress login screen.
  • Reduces duplicate branding settings to maintain.
  • Keeps the login experience consistent with the public website.
  • Provides a focused solution without a large settings panel.
  • Is released under a 100% GPL license.

Why Use It?

WordPress sites often define a logo in the Customizer but continue showing the default WordPress mark on the login page. IdentityMirror closes that gap automatically, which is useful for client sites, membership portals, and branded WordPress dashboards.

Installation

  1. Open Plugins → Add New in the WordPress dashboard.
  2. Search for IdentityMirror.
  3. Install and activate the plugin.
  4. Set or update the site logo under Appearance → Customize → Site Identity.
  5. Open the login page in a private browser window to verify the synced logo.

IdentityMirror is available for free from the WordPress.org plugin directory.

Compatibility Notes

The plugin follows the standard WordPress Customizer site-logo setting. If another plugin or custom theme replaces the login header markup or applies aggressive login-page CSS, test the final logo presentation on desktop and mobile screens.
